The Metroplex Economic Development Corporation is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization established by Bishop T.D. Jakes in 1998 to bridge the socio-economic gap that exists in historically underserved communities.
The core initiative of the MEDC is to empower individuals, families and entrepreneurs through the implementation of social and economic deliverables.
